Asset – A marketing deliverable such as an email, landing page, home page, sales page or full funnel.
Conversion Copywriting – Words (copy) written to get your prospect to say “YES! – sign me up right now!” to your offer.
Frameworks – Flexible tools to organize messages in a compelling way.
Formulas – More precise tools to make your first draft pack more punch.
Home Page: The first web page of your website where your visitor usually lands from a general web search.
Landing Page: A landing page is a web page typically created for marketing or advertising campaigns. It’s the place where the reader lands after they click a CTA in an email or click through an ad. Landing pages can have goals like lead generation, trial starts or demo requests.
Roadmap – A key feature inside the Copy School platform. Roadmaps are curated sequences of lessons that, if completed, will ensure you get to your conversion copywriting learning goals as efficiently as possible. Roadmaps are found at copyschool.copyhackers.com
Rule of One – In conversion copywriting the Rule of One is a rule that tells us to focus on just one thing per marketing asset. The rule of one has three parts: reader, offer and value proposition.
Sales Page: A type of landing page with a primary focus to sell. If you want to write a landing page that is focused on selling, you should choose a workflow in Copy School that’s for selling on pages.
Solution Design -document you create for each asset you write (template in Airstory with membership in Copy School).
Ultimate Message Map (UMM) – Document where you organize all of the research and data you collect as part of the conversion copywriting process (template in Airstory with membership in Copy School).
Value Proposition (value prop)- The item you offer in your copy that is of high value to your reader – it appeals to everyone, unifies them, and is BIG (meaning desirable!).
Web Page: A broad umbrella term applied to any page on the internet. It tells us nothing about that page’s topic or purpose. A web page is any single page that is displayed in Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or any browser you choose. All pages on the web are web pages.

Copy School is not included in Freelancing School. They are separate programs with different focuses.
Copy School is a collection of lessons covering conversion copywriting basics and advanced principles and practices. Copy School was created and exists for those individuals who are looking to learn conversion copywriting principles to apply to their own business or become a conversion-focused copywriter.
Freelancing School is designed for individuals with a beginner understanding of copywriting principles and are hoping to move into a becoming a successful freelance copywriter.
Although Copy School and Freelancing School (formerly 10x Freelance Copywriter) complement each other beautifully – kinda like chocolate and strawberries – they are very much separate courses.

If you’re unsure of what course you should start with we always suggest starting with the 10x Freelance Copywriter. Do this course in order and put in the work that is suggested to grow your business fast, and sustainably!
As you go through the course please use the other courses to build off these teachings as needed.

We also highly suggest joining the community and using it effectively, ask Qs, read the past Q & A’s and discover all the tips and tricks others before you have found and shared.

The quickest way to get around this glitch is to simply scroll down the course overview page and select the first lesson directly. This normally clears this glitch out and you should have access to your course.
If for some reason this doesn’t work for you please reach out to support@copyhackers.com and they’ll make sure everything is working tip top for you.
Simply go to the “Account” section of your dashboard and click on the “$ Go To CustomerHub” button. You will be sent an email with directions on how to check your billing info and update anything that is needed.

Any courses you’ve completed will show up as 100% complete in the blue bar below the course logo and have a blue smiley face on them.
If you’re curious about which lesson(s) is not complete, click into the course and see what lessons don’t have a blue checkmark beside them.
If you have completed a course or lesson and it is not registering as completed, please reach out to support@copyhackers.com with the course and lesson and they will get everything sorted out for you.
